YIN & RESTORATIVE YOGA
MEET YOUR WELLNESS GOALS THROUGH LEARNING DEEP RELAXATION.
When it comes to overall health and wellbeing, a lot depends on our nervous system. Our ability to self regulate, and turn on the rest-and-digest response more often can help deal with existing conditions and even prevent many serious health issues in the future. The practice of Yin & Restorative yoga helps us achieve balance of nervous system as well as gently stretch the body. With regular practice of asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation and mindfulness you will create overall resilience to stress and improve your physical health & wellness.
BREATHWORK & MEDITATION
CREATE A NEW LIFE BY RELEASING STRESS.
Yogic pranayama (prana - “life force” in Sanskrit) is much more than just deep breathing. The practice of pranayama brings our awareness to what we already have. And one thing that we all have is our breath. Unfortunately, many people are constantly so busy that they even rush through breathing. Short, shallow breaths trigger stress hormones that lead to prolonged activation of the sympathetic nervous system. One of the major benefits of pranayama, breath work that involves inhaling through the nose, is the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, or rest & digest state. This is why pranayama also helps maintain healthy weight, promotes healthy sleep, boosts immunity, and elevates mood.

About the Instructor
Hi! I’m Oxana, the founder of Yes Yes Yoga. I teach simple mindfulness tools for everyday (sometimes, not so simple) life.
The truth about most group yoga classes is that they don’t teach functional movements that people use in everyday life and that there’s not enough time to address the dysregulations of the nervous system. While working with me, you will learn how to befriend your body & mind with easy and effective somatic practices, balance energetic exchanges within the chakras through guided meditations and breath work, practice therapeutic movements to create better awareness and to release chronic tension in back, neck, shoulders and hips to create everlasting health for every season of life.
I received my 200-hours Yoga Instructor certification in 2014 at YogaWorks NYC. Since then I have completed about two dozens of additional trainings, including in yoga anatomy, meditation and pranayama (breath work), functional movement, trauma-informed yoga, Yin & Restorative yoga, herbalism, Ayurveda and many more. I have taught over 5000 group yoga classes and hundreds of private sessions. At the moment, I’m working towards a 500-hours yoga certification. These unique yoga programs are the direct result of many years of education, numerous trainings, and my teaching and personal experience.
